Moving from Connecticut to Florida for graduate school has been quite the culture shock (to say the least). I miss the energy of New England, the beautiful Fall days, living close to New York City, and the list goes on. Even though I've been here a year, I'm still not fully adjusted to the differences in the lifestyle. Florida has been a place that I love to visit, because it is so simple, relaxing, and beautiful, and I think I may take advantage of that and not truly enjoy it.
This past weekend I decided to take a walk around the neighborhood and take in my beautiful surroundings. I must say, I live in paradise where each view seems more magical and picture perfect than the next. Life in Florida isn't so bad, but Connecticut will always be my home. Here are some snapshots from my adventure (I'm using my favorite 50mm lens!).
