The Leopard Flat

Sam Edelman 'Aster' Flats
Let me me start off by saying that I am not a huge fan of animal print. Did you just cringe? Let me explain. I think that it works in accessories, but it can be way overdone when the pattern is brought into clothes. I know some of you are going to totally disagree with me, and may rock animal print weekly, but it's never been something that I've been drawn to. My nightmares of animal print all stem from college where most of my peers wore animal print excessively (to say the least), and it began to be almost tacky and unfashionable, you know?

Anyways, I'm getting past my college experience and am totally loving these fun flats. I recently spotted them on someone who was wearing an all black ensemble, and my eyes went right to the shoes. I knew I needed to have them, and I went home and searched the web immediately (my mom even ordered a pair too!). I love the print, the loafer esque vibe they have, and how edgy the metal cap-toe is. They are perfect paired with these pants and a simple top, and they completely take over any outfit. Let the shoes do all the talking by being the statement piece in the outfit. These shoes don't need/want to compete!
