Feminine Touch

I usually steer away from super girly details on my clothing, and when I do buy clothes that have subtle touches of prep, I try to toughen it up (like adding a black leather jacket to a floral printed dress here). I think I have officially scarred myself from ultra feminine and preppy fabrics in high school, when my wardrobe consisted mostly of gingham, seersucker, and Lily Pulitzer (believe it!). I tried on this dress about four or five times until I finally made it mine. I didn't try to toughen up the slight ruffle and dainty layers instead, this time, I embraced my inner girly-girl and paired it with wood heels and layered jewelry.
