Madewell Skirt, Alexa Chung for Madewell Top, Sam Edelman Sandals

I've been trying to take more fashion risks and thus have been pairing different colors and patterns together. One example is wearing stripes and polka dots together. When I bought this skirt I envisioned it with a oversized black T-shirt, but when I paired the polka dot skirt with a red striped top, I couldn't resist the combination. Who would ever think that stripes and polka dots could look good together? The colors worked together and the contrasting prints made for a great Sunday outfit for strolling around the city.
