I love when outfits aren't too perfect. Pairing a flirty fit and flare skirt, which is on the fancier side, with a casual striped tee is probably one of my favorite things to wear. Pieces with a little "girly" factor always look better with tougher pieces such as black stripes and chunky wedges. Oh, and how awesome is this clutch? I scored it at Zara. It was actually the only one left, and I snatched it from the mannequin and made my boyfriend guard it while I tried some things on. The things we do for fashion!

thredUP Day 4

Sadly, this is the last day of my thredUP challenge. I was so happy when I was sent this Tart dress. This dress is the perfect choice for a girl on a budget, because it can be worn endless ways. Make sure to watch the video on their website to see the ways to style it. It's so cool! Buying a dress that is so versatile is great for several different occasions. It is wedding season, and if you are worried about finding different outfits for each party, this dress will be your best friend!

thredUP Day 3!

I practically live in Zara tees. They have so many fun colors, patterns, and fits to play around with, and they don't break the bank! When I saw this Zara tee on the thredUP website, I knew I had to add it to my shopping list. I love basic tees, and the low back gives it a little sass. Have you checked out the thredUP website yet? thredUP Day 2

I must admit, I was slightly hesitant to take the "ThredUP Challenge." I do consign my own clothes, but trusting an online resale was difficult for me. I think it may be because I am such a visual person; I like to touch things, try them on, and have them tangible for me before I purchase them.

After viewing the thredUP website, I found so many familiar designers that I love and great (affordable) pieces that I ended up coveting. Searching for clothes to purchase was so easy. You can actually search by designer, which is my favorite way to shop online.

The clothes were received in the cutest, green, polka dot box. I must admit, when I opened the box, I was overjoyed.  The box stated that thredUP donates a portion of proceeds, from every thredUP bag, to support the development of high-quality teachers in our schools through "Teach for America." I love this. I believe strongly in teaching and that little saying on the box, before even seeing the clothes, made me realize that I would be a continuous shopper at thredUP.

The clothes looked perfectly new. Some even had the original tags! It's sometimes hard to order clothes online, because it can be a challenge to see the exact fit of something you're buying. These items looked and fit exactly how they were shown on the site. I hate surprises when shopping online, don't you?

Little White Dress

I think I may have just found the perfect white dress. It's soft, stretchy, and has the perfect amount of flare! For the Summer months, it's so important to have a go-to piece, and this is mine!

This dress was originally bought for my graduate school graduation and has proved to be so versatile since then. I love pairing it with printed jackets and different jewels. White is such a fabulous blank canvas for an accessory lover— like me.
